AT&T Complaint - Continually Over Charging
PO BOX CAROL STREAM, ILLINOIS -- I had good experience with AT&T in the past; however, when I moved and started new internet service at beginning of January 2011, I agreed to pay $19/month, but I have continually been charged $45/month. It is now July 29th and I have been charged $45 on every bill. At first they said that the discount wouldn't go through until 4 billing cycles had occurred and then my account would be credited. So I waited until May just to be sure, but I kept being charged $45. I have called at least 8 times to get this fixed, every time they assure me that it is fixed and I won't have to pay my next bill because I have already overpaid for the year. I have never actually been able to make contact with a manager/supervisor because after the customer service reps “transferred” me to the manager, I waited on hold another 30 minutes before I just hung up. I just received another bill and they are now adding late fees on even though I have paid more than I owe. I am not sure where to go from here except to cancel my service and let other people know the problems with their billing.
