Nextel Complaint - the lies they tell - lies,lies and more lies
FLORIDA -- here's what happened, my daughter had nextel. moved to tenn. bad signal could never use her nextel phone or radio. so she switches to another company, nextel tells her that she has 9 months left on her plan so she would have to pay $200 cancellation fee, another rep tells her she can put the phone on stand-by for 6 months (for 5.95 a month) and then only have 4 months to pay her regular bill.which would've savedher about 300.00. well 8 months have gone by and i'm thinking of taking over her plan for use by my son. so i call, they tell me that it is past due to be taken off the "stand-by" and i cannot cancel it cause now after stand by is up they re-add the 8 months....2 months that they forgot to take off stand by...it was their responsiblity to take it off not mine. anyway so they tell me i still have the 8 months left on the contract so i get mad and tell the guy i'll call him back, i had decided to just take it over for my son. well i get another person (lady )(cause the one guy wouldnt call me back)she then tells me that my contract is up on that day! so i was confused, upset and just told her to just cancel the whole thing.....that was a few days ago, am wondering what happens when they realize their mistake. still have two other phones thru nextel and am not sure i wil keep those depending on the final results of this one. Another thing when i thought about keeping the plan they did NOT tell me that ANYTIME you change your plan (up or down) it renews your contract for another year! two many people working there that dont know what the heck their doing!
