I'm suspicious about car repair shops being emissions testing sites. There's a place near me that does them, but I have a sinking suspicion that they unnecessarily fail a number of cars simply to get their repair business. Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but I would rather drive 10 minutes out of my way to a state-run testing facility (and testing is all they do) and get it done.

This guy was at the state run facility. In Indiana the shops don't test it like other states. The shops only fixed the cars the state has already failed. Don't generalize about shops like that. Heinold and Feller has a very good rep and it is not easy to get on the state list of qualified shops.
