United Express/gojet Airlines Complaint - Disable Handcapped - wheel chair access
On July 22, 2011 we left Richmond, VA for Dullas Airport in Washington D. C. Due to mechanical difficults the flight was delayed. We missed our connecting flight from Dullas to Orlando, FL. When we reached Dullas Airport at 11:00 P.M. we wainted in line for one and half hours. I do understand delays in air travel...but at what cost to the passengers? When I reached the front of the customer line and was told by the ticket agent Loulou (yes that was on her name tag) that the wheel chair department WAS CLOSED!!!
I had to walk from the terminal that we arrived in to the air bus with a cane and hoped that I did not fall...When I got the main terminal I finally found a company who had wheel chairs available. I am filing a formal complaint with the handicapped organization and with United Airlines. Also, I informed Loulou that if I fell I would be calling 911 and to please direct them to the main terminal.
