Sears Complaint - Sears refrigertors do NOT come with brakes and they won't fix it
Bought a $1,000 plus new Sears refrigerator WITH the warranty - another $200+ dollars. We have been faithful Sears customers for over 30 years. We spend almost $800 annually on warranties for all the Sears products we own because we trust them. The refrigerator was delivered and immediately slid toward me on the tile floor when I opened the door. The delivery guy said that once it was filled with food, it would not slide toward me. Well after being filled, it continued to pull toward me and my foot. I called repair, they came out and said that there are no brakes anymore on refrigerators and he could not do anything to fix the dangerous problem. He told me, I could perhaps find something to stick under the wheels at a hardware store !!!!!!! All that money for a warranty and it was MY problem. What a sad situation. I never thought to ask if there was a brake on the rerigerator. This is a dangerous and disappointing experience.
