Ford Motor Company Complaint - Why Parts Fall Off Ford 500
I bought a Ford 500 in 2005, its paid off and the extended warranty has run out, this is when things start to happen. About three months ago I took my car to go shopping, came home and parked. The next morning I go to get my car and I see that a piece of the roof is missing. I go to a Ford dealership and speak to the service manager, he tells me their is nothing he can do which is what I expected. I complained to ford, nothing. The part that fell off is called the roof drip moulding the cost of this part painted is $136.00.
In the first month Ford changed my brake pads because I found a lot of brake dust on my wheels. I have 44,550 miles on my car now. I have had four sets of brakes put on this car, now they tell me that I need another set of rear brakes enough is enough. I asked the service manager about this and he told me that I must be hard on my brakes. I have the car for six years, four sets of brakes going on a fifth 44,500 miles and I'm hard on brakes. My car was driven on the highway at 4am in the morning no traffic. I have bought fords all my life I am almost 70, I will never buy another ford, my next car is a Hyundai.
I don't think I should be responsible for body parts falling off cars.
