Best Buy Complaint - Best Buy Geek Squad- Ridiculous!
NEWNAN, GEORGIA -- Two weeks ago we went to Best Buy to get a new computer. The sales representative talked us into buying a model that was on clearance, we said okay. He takes box up to counter, starts ringing us up- he brought the wrong computer up there- the one he "sold" us they did not have any more in boxes, we had to take the display model. Then, we paid to have them move all of our years and years worth of stuff from our old computer to the new one, brought it home and NONE of our data was on the new computer- no photos, no documents, no music, etc. Also, we had to go back to the store TWICE because they forgot to "charge" us for services that came with the package they offered. We bought two monitors, and 3 different guys sold us 3 different cables/adapters and NONE of them worked! When we did call the tech support hotline, we got a young girl who giggled through the entire call and then said she couldn't help us. Our local cable company was 10 times more helpful with set up information than Best Buy was. We regret the entire transaction and we will never go back there again, for anything! This was in Newnan, Georgia but it has soured us on the whole Best Buy chain. Oh yes, and the message on their number said they opened at 11am on Sunday but when we got there, they don't open until noon! They are that stupid. When we told them about that, the guy laughed- we did not think it was funny to sit out in their parking lot.
