Waffle House Complaint - Will not return

Knowing where you experienced this poor service would go a long way in adding value to your review. There are many Waffle House restaurants in this country. Some are run well others are not.

You can try to contact corporate, and share with them your experiences at the location you are unhappy with.

I have eaten in Waffle House restaurants pretty much all opver the US, and some are great while others are a waste of time and money. My son was a cook at a Waffle House and is a great short-order cook, among other things. It would be nice if Waffle House service and cleanliness as well as food preparation were more uniform, but some people take real pride while others, not so much.

How do you know the restaurant wasn't busy when you called in? If you know this place is disorganized, why not order from the fine restaurant at the same price? If it's as bad as you say, why bother giving them your business?

There's a Waffle House location near my office and one near my home. I like a Waffle House, have never been in a nasty one, and the employees have always been friendly and the service and food good. Like everything else, I guess it just depends on where you are and you can't beat the entertainment if you dine in.

I have been to a few of them. I will warn you that the one in Pensacola Fl. is not a very good one. It was hot and muggy inside, the food was cold, eggs were like rubber, nothing had much flavor. We were in a hurry and did not have time to find another place for breakfast. The other ones I have been to were OK for the price.

i enjoy eating at waffle house while i travel. in general, i can expect the same quality and menu choices. as far quality, i do not expect 5 star couture, i expect greasy spoon truck stop food.

My last 2 visits over the last 4 years were my last. I found out on another site that this outfit is in Chapter 11 (or otherwise is going under) and is closing places one at a time apparently to try to still get some money to finance the bankruptcy. In June 2012 the one in Joplin Mo was a h@llh@le with employees that seemed to know their days were numbered and the place was filthy and empty of customers at 7:30 on a weekday morning. The food was horrible. Similar experience in Indiana couple years before. Stay out of em. They are not what they used to be. Not by a long shot.
