Pecker's Restaurant Complaint - Terrible Service

Review by TsalagiBob on 2005-07-01
WESLACO, TEXAS -- A party of ten arrived at Pecker's, which used to
be the best Tex-Mex restaurant in Weslaco, Texas,
at 6:00 PM. We were given five beat-up menus.
I asked for O'Doul's beer and was told that they
were out. My granddaughter asked for fried ochra
which was on the menu, and was informed that they
were out. My daughter asked for a deep-fried
onion appetizer and was told that they were out
of onions. Since I could not get O'Doul's, I
asked for ice tea and was informed that they were
out as well as being out of coffee! I settled
for a Bud.
Two meals were served at 6:35 PM. Three more
were served at 6:50 PM. Two more came at 7:05 PM,
and the last three meals, consisting of only tacos
came at 7:18 PM. One of these taco meals, was
soft tacos, and consisted of three uncooked corn
tortillas wrapped around ground beef.

My expectations would be somewhat low for a place called Peckers.

Who or What would name a establishment "Peckers"

I’m sure when you saw the title biz, you salivated at the thought of finally a thread of your expertise. How disappointing to you it was a restaurant, especially since you know nothing about the availability of alcohol free beverages.

I think this was a set-up post by the doctor. It is in Texas. Note the name and who replied first.
