Priceline Complaint - Nothing But A SCAM - Hotel
NORWALK -- I accepted a registry position in an area I wasn't familiar with. So I called America's Best Value Inn and was told by the receptionist that the hotel was in a good area and had many accomidations in the area. Because it was a little cheaper online, I booked through Priceline. Upon arriving at the hotel, it was run down, dirty and absolutely in the middle of nowhere. I told the woman at the desk that I was dis-satisifed and requested a refund. She told me that she would have to charge me for the first night and refund the second. To save money I stayed there the first night. The next morning I spoke to the manager who told me he'd be happy to refund my money, but since I booked with Priceline I would have to speak to them directly. After speaking to Priceline, they told me it would take up to two business days. So I got a different hotel the second night. The next day I got an email from Priceline saying they spoke to the hotel who refused to refund my money, as so neither could they. So I'm out $75 because no one is accontable? It's nothing but a scam!
