AirTran Airways Complaint - Customer Service and flight cancellation
OHIO -- I had booked tickets from DCA to Dayton via Atlanta. my flight was from morning 6:10 am to 7:30am (DCA T0 ATl) and from there to dayton. firstly Airtran had over booked the flight ( nothing new in that ). We started on time but after an hour on the track the pilot decided to tell us that there was a glitch and that we had to abort the flight. so we got out of the flight at around 7:30 back to DCA. ( so we sat in flight for 11/2 hours and back to the same place where we started from ) now I thought to my self that they might have arranged something ( thats what they told us in the flight)so we waited at the gate. there was no assistance to tell us what the hell was going on. we just waited like fools talking to each other but no Airtran assistance. I waited for 4:50 hours before I was told that I will be boarding a flight which is from DCA To ATL and DAYTON but only problem was the time that was from 4:30pm to 10:00pm. so I just want to say .. WTF!!! I was supposed to reach in the morning at 10:30am and they telling me to board a flight which makes me wait for 12hrs to reach my destination.
if Airtran boasts so much about its customer service it should prove it once in while. it sucks big time and I recommend others too, to not to travel by this airline. I have learnt my lesson and I urge you to stay away from this airline for good.
