Priceline Complaint - Unresponsive and rigid
When I realized I had made a typing error on my PRICELINE reservation ( I typed in the wrong month-7 ( August) instead of 8 (September)--I attempted to correct this error with the company. Their response was that the reservation I made was "non refundable" and they would not change it. They suggested I take it up with the hotel itself, and made no effort to help or intervene. Of course the hotel itself wanted to charge me double-for both the old, and the potentially new, correct reservation. My advice--BE CAREFUL WHEN BOOKING, FOR WHAT YOU TYPE AND SEND IS IN STONE--better yet, don't use Priceline at all. They are not worth the discount, considering the fact that people do make mistakes, and need help when they do. And the company is supposed to serve people, right?
