Hhgreg Complaint - Bad returns - air conditioner

My 67 year old sister bought an appliance at hhgregg it broke in about 18 days they didn't have another and would not return her money and didn't have another to replace it. I called their customer service dept and was` told to bad you bought it. I would not buy anythingat this place again

They should have given her a refund so she could buy an air-conditioner somewhere else. Did she try contacting the manufacturer for service?

I'm not sure where this said anything about air-conditioning. Some companies have an allowable return period that they control fairly stringently. I would agree that with such a short time of ownership, if they were not able to make an exchange, a refund would be in order.
