I guess they believe that if the USA government can trash the dollar, so can they. What our politicians have done to the US dollar over the last 10 years is criminal. Of course, most people couldn't care less.

Oh, I think a lot of people care, but they get frustrated trying to get the politicians to do anything reasonable about it. As for currency conversion, it's something even banks like to overcharge for.

Alain, if the people really cared, they would vote these idiots out of office, demand term limits, no retirement from public office, demand they cut their salaries and perks etc...but that ain't gonna happen. Too many sheep that either enjoy the status quo or listen to some hellywood or sports "celebrity".

That's pretty rough, and in a fast moving environment like this they stand to gain quite a bit of profit from that behavior.
