Dish Network Informative - Sign 'em and stick em - - - promise them anything
I signed up to change from DirecTV for the terrific price break and free installation. Everything the representative told me was false, starting with the scheduled installation time. One time charge for processing, my foot. Took 3 calls to stop credit card billing, and the lsit goes on. Customer Service is in the Phillipines and speak broken English at best. My letter of complaint was answered by a letter from R. James, Dispute Resolution Specialist, asking me to call him at 720-514-7144 since he was unable to reach me on my cell, which is available 24/7 and has voice mail. I called and spoke with the most condescending, demeaning man who was using a number, not mine or given by me, to reach me, but yet had listed my correct number in his letter. He stated his objective is to explain to customers how these things happen.
I would have thought his objective would be to address complaints and resolve, not "explain" how I was taken. This representative is just as rude and unhelpful as the rest of Dishnetwork Customer Service. It's like calling "Peggy".
