Priceline Complaint - Will NEVER book with them again.
I was a first-time user of Priceline's 'name your price' service today. I will never use this service again or Priceline.com for ANY bookings EVER again. I submitted for Wisconsin Dells and my price was accepted in a town almost 20 miles away. I know for sure I didn't select another town. My first couple bids were rejected and it brings you back to a page to change the price. I only changed the price. I called the customer service department ... a bunch of robotic garbage ... and they would not refund my money. They would allow me to re-book in my city of choice (on my own through the web again following some procedure) and charge me a $25 change fee. No, no, no. Round and round we went - they won't allow you to speak to any management - that option is only available by mail.
After the hassle, I went online to read reviews (which, I should have done in the first place) and read over and over again that this exact situation has happened to MANY other people!!! Priceline is evil. Thieves and robbers.
I was able to dispute the charge through my bank and have the charges reversed.
How can any company get away with this kind of service? Where's the class-action law suits???
