Comcast Corporation Complaint - There is BAD service, then there is Comcast!
I can't believe how can any company get away with such bad service in this day and age. I mean, incompetence galore!...what 1 representative says is completely different from what the other person says. These are just eg of the HORRIBLE HORRIBLE service we have received so far:
The first offer we got was a "special offer" for $35 which included basic cable and internet. This is our first experience - the guy they sent to set up the connection forgot his ID so he had to wait for a couple of hours before someone came to his help. 1 week later, the cable stopped working, so when we called again we were told that they had sent us the wrong DVR box for cable which of course means that 1 more week to mail us the new box. THEN, the guy who came to set up the new box was apparently BANNED from the building!....what must that guy have done to be banned from the building?!?...so our appointment got cancelled again and we had to set up a new appointment. Oh and by the way, the original wrong box that THEY installed, WE are responsible for mailing it back, or they will charge a certain fee every month!!!!...WHAT THE HELL!?!?
AS it stands now, we are being charged $40 + taxes per month instead of the $35 because they haven't received the other box back although we had sent it out about 4 weeks ago. Oh and by the way, we found out that our monthly rate is going up by $29!!!...What?!?what the hell happened to the "special friggin' rate"!...we are left with no other choice but to just cancel the cable service.
We wish we could cancel the internet also, but there is NO OTHER service available in our area!!!...how can such companies survive?!?...Unbelievable!!
