QVC Home Shopping Network Complaint - QVC Unauthorized charges and no warranty

Review by jleetw1 on 2011-08-12
1200 WILSON DR., PENNSYLVANIA -- I bought a $1000.00 Desk Top Computer a week ago after having to call HP for problems twice and spending hours fixing it I called QVC who told me they would send out a exchange. 1 day later they charged my credit card without my authorization did not ship the computer to exchange. So I am out of more money a computer that does not work properly and I have wasted my time and money. And "Q" wants me to spend more of my time with some at Home "geek" that tells me he works out of HP call center which his number comes up a printing shop?
I am a disabled person and I think they are trying to take advantage of me.

I don't know about buying a computer through QVC. Especially if you're elderly and not very comfortable around technology -- although I know I'm making a little bit of an assumption.

Ideally, I would have purchased locally from someone able to support what you needed, but that's a little too late.

I think I'd just do some checking around with some good, local tech people that is capable of assisting you.

Best of luck.

QVC wouldnt know you are disabled unless you told them. I think its less about your status and more about QVC not being a good company to deal with.
