Facebook Complaint - A group place an offensive comment in my profile regarding to consuming drugs - Social Cause foundation

Social Cause foundation - Complaint
Review by luvictoria20032 on 2011-08-13
This group displayed wrong informacion about adults pets, and I added my comment of that was not true because adult pets do suffer from separation anxiety or when they are left alone por long periods of time. Their response was that I shouldn't discourage adult dogs adoption. I said, I do not know what your comment come from I am just trying to correct informacion because the public deserves de truh and animals can be hurt by misleading the people instead. Well, whoever was on the other side responding my comments was very offensive telling that I was using drugs and I should not be taken seriously. I responded in a respecful manner, I asked who was the person writing those comments and they never answer. I told them that I was to report them to Facebook and blocked them from Facebook. I waited hours to see what other offensive comment to document which I did. Instead, they blocked me and know Facebook has blocked me I do not know the reason because I read their terms and policies, and I haven't done any of those!!! so please I want to speak with someone regarding this issue because is pretty offensive in double!!!

sure sounds like a mess. facebook is great in some ways, but as you found, bad in others. there have been many cases where people were harassed openly. it is always good to know who you are placing on your friend list.

very helpful review!!

You are correct about pets getting separation anxiety, OP. It is treatable. My neighbor's dog has it (he howls when he is left alone for any period of time). He's a sweet dog, but a bit noisy now and again. They're using Prozac to treat him and it does seem to help.

There is a lot of offensive material posted on community websites. Just look around - it's a real shame.

Very helpful.

Unfortunately I can't say anything about the Facebook piece, but I am pretty sure you are correct about separation anxiety. It doesn't matter what their age is. This is usually created by the pet's owner (unknowingly, of course) or if it starts to appear, not dealt with correctly by the pet's owner. I'm not saying that these owners are bad. They are providing the best home they know how for the pet. It's just that a lot of people unknowingly reinforce the separation anxiety.

Separation anxiety can happen to any pet at any time. Not just seniors.

I'm sorry you were attacked on FB for posting something that was informative. That's the risk with FB, and you never know who is really out there in internet land, and ready to pounce on anyone for just about anything.

As for FB blocking you, the victim, does not surprise me. FB is a use at your own risk free site, and who knows why they sometimes do what they do.

Mark Zuckerburg would never stand for shennanigans like that.....

It sounds like you are upset about what another user posted about you on facebook...

Although it may hurt when others say mean things, unless that user specifically violates FB terms-of-service they can say what they want.

The best option is to block them and report them to FB. And likewise they are allowed to block you too.
