WAL-MART--- DECATUR TEXAS Complaint - DECATUR TX. WAL-MART PHARMACY
DECATUR, TEXAS -- Called in a prescription to be refilled at the Decatur Wal-mart pharmacy on July 31,2011 and I called to check on the status of the prescription and the associate told me that it wasn't ready that they don't fax it in till the next day. Alright then I called the pharmacy in the middle of that week and they said they had not heard from the doctor but I can come over and get a 3day supply if I need to. Then I made another call to see if its ready cause I have to drive 13 miles and the price of gas and I did not want to make a trip and it not be ready. Well I made the call and spoke with an pharmacist and I asked him if the prescription was ready and he said no and I said well when did you fax it to the doctors office and he said it has never been faxed. I asked since Walmart is remodeling does this have anything to do with the fax's and he no and I asked can the doctor fax to you he said yes BUT WE JUST DID NOT FAX IT TO THE DOCTOR. I said oh my god its been a total of 8 days since I called the prescription in, well I asked to speak with a store manager and then I spoke with Justin Larsen and he apologize and offered a $30.00 gift card to make up for the time and gas to come and get the 3 day supply of my husband heart medication-- so I went to Decatur on 8/10/11 and got the 3 day supply of his pacerone plus I had to get a 3 day supply of his zocor cause they didn't have it ready and I called it in on 8/6/11 and yes I did pick-up the gift card but it sure don't make up for all the time and trouble that I had to got thu. On August 12th I went to Wal-mart to check and see if my husband prescription was ready and yes the Pacerone was ready after a total of 12 days and the zocor was not. I asked when did they fax it in and the associate at the PC where they take in the orders said I just faxed it in. Oh my God here we go again, so I got on my cell phone and called my husband cardiologist and spoke with the nurse that does all the prescriptions, I asked did you receive a fax or call in from the Decatur Wal-mart pharmacy on my husband prescription on zocor and she said NO I have not received anything, but I will do it right now for you I said ok thank you. Then I informed the pharmacy that I was not be leaving without his medication so they went ahead and filled it. So I had to get back in line and the lady in front of me told me she has been waiting 2 weeks to get her prescription and when she went up to tell them her name guess what it still was not ready and she just walked out of Walmart and the gentleman behind me said he waited a week and his prescription wasn't ready. I DO NOT KNOW WHY DECATUR WAL-MART PHARMACY HIRE PEOPLE THAT ARE NOT CAPABLE OF DOING THE JOB THAT THEY ARE REQUIRED TO DO AND I THINK THEY SHOULD POST THEIR CERTIFICATIONS OUT WHERE CUSTOMERS CAN SEE WHO THEY HAVE FILLING THEIR PRESCRIPTIONS
This is a major problem and it could have resulted in a issue of my husband heart condition. If anything have had happened to him you would or will hear from an attorney.
