Ikea Complaint - Kitchen Installation Unsatisfactory
CANTON, MICHIGAN -- I'm writing to record my dissatisfaction with my Ikea kitchen installation. I have friends planning to build or make-over their kitchen. Unfortunately, I will have nothing good to say about my kitchen installation experience from IkeA. I chose to use QWR, which was a problem from the start. My tear down date was changed without my knowledge or approval although I had an email confirmation of the original date. There were damaged items from Ikea that had to be replaced after the installation. QWR wanted to charge me and additional $70.00 to come back to complete the job with the replaced items. After the granite counter-top was installed, the diswasher door wouldn't open. Of course, it's not the fault of QWR, Great Lakes Granit or Ikea. According to Ikea, it's my Plummers fault because he was the last one to touch it. As a customer, all I know is that I purchased a kitchen from Ikea. That doesn't matter to Ikea now that I've paid them for kitchen cabinets and appliances. Never again!!
