Frontier Communications Complaint - A new record for incompetence
I've had trouble on and off with Frontier since they picked up from Verizon (who were not so great either), but the last 3 months have been horrible. I arranged for new service at a new address several weeks in advance of my move. They cancelled the installation for reasons that still are not clear to me. Finally got a land line and DSL installed and now I get not one but TWO bills each month- one for the line that's installed and one for the cancelled number! I call, they say they've fixed it. I get ANOTHER bill, I call again, they SWEAR they've fixed it. In one month I got 3 bills for ever increasing amounts along with threats to report me as a deadbeat. I have spent hours and hours on the phone with them and no one ever has case notes so I have to explain it again and again. Called a couple of days ago and they still showed that I owed a balance, but swore once again that they have fixed it again.
I think this is a scheme and may amount to consumer fraud. If anyone else has experienced issues with this kind of double billing, it needs to be reported to your state consumer protection agency.
