Appliance Services in Houston, Texas Complaint - They come out NOT in a Co. car (shady Co. badge) tries to get more$ & looking to C what u have

Review by Flavoured1 on 2011-08-15
This Company, if it is a company, is online as an appliances service repair company. They have a reg. vehicle with no company name on it nor any type of shirt/uniform. Because my two cousins were visting that day, I allowed the (service-repair-man)in. Then once he looked and doo-daddle around, he told me the "Service Call" was more then what I was quoted over the phone. These people say they are an appliance service, repair company. They quote you a price for a service call but once they (the person) who comes out is there, he raises the price and @ the same time he's very attenative to products in your home. He then states, if you have a computer maybe we could look up and see if you can get the part/s cheaper, but the entire time he does not know very much about the appliance and he continues to call someone on his cell asking questions. By the way, this "Business has @ least 3 different numbers; they Do Not always answer by saying, "The name of the Business" how may I help you?) So much these days, are happening; people are just pretending to be a service company to get into your home then come back a few days later to break in or what. But this appliance service repair company had so many inconsistancies and very uneased @ times. I told my husband and we decided to just cut all communications with them. "We count it as a Lost." My husband told me; from now on, we ONLY Do Business With Big-Well-Known-Name-Companies, who send their workers out in company vehicles and uniforms, with certified picture name I. D's. There's so much going on in this world today and we have so much on our minds that sometimes we "Let Our Guards Down" we do not have the affordability to Ever Let Our Guard's Down, because it could cost us our hard-earned $ and "GOD Forebid" maybe our lives. I omly pray those "appliance service repair people do Not Ever come/call us again. Heads Up everyone. Stay Safe & Alert.

Sounds like a company I would want to stay clear of. Where did you dig up these clowns in the Yellow Pages or online?

It wouldn't hurt to tell this story to your local police. Our police welcome reports of any suspicious behavior. There may even be other reports about these people. Don't just wait for something to happen.

Are they even licensed? Check with your state licensing board.

You just cannot let anyone into your home, no matter who is there with you. They sound more like they are casing out homes for future home invasions or robberies.

Thanks for the review.
