Orbitz Complaint - Charged double
On Friday 8-12-11 I was booking a flight for my nephew from Charlotte, NC to BWI when the site kept giving me error messages. So I closed the site down and went back on and booked his flight. Now I am being charged to two (2) tickets to the same place on the same day. I was not notified in any way that 2 reservations had been made. I called the customer service for Orbitz and was told they would not refund any amount back to my account. But that I could send US Airlines $150.00 to the refund department so that the refund could be processed. What a crock of crap!!!!! Does Orbitz not realize what these mistakes by their website cause???? 300.00 may not be much to some people but for me it is part of my house payment... I will never use ORBITZ again to book any travel reservations and I will make sure that I tell everyone not to use them!!!!!
