Reebok Sneakers Complaint - Bent Sneaker - Girl Rainbow Sneaker

Girl Rainbow Sneaker - Complaint
Review by Consumer on 2011-08-21
SUMTER, SOUTH CAROLINA -- I bought my little girl sneakers for school. She got two pairs of nike sneakers and a pair of converse. She saw the rainbow reebok. And wanted them so I let her try on the 11.5 sneaker. She fit the shoe and the were on sell for $25.00 so I got them. When I got home I decided to string them up and realize the left shoe has a turn in it. Its no good you can't where it. The type part is curved. Please people check both shoe before leaving the store from now on.

It's always a good idea to try on both shoes. I hope you can return them for another pair.

Just curious though. Did your daughter try the left one on? Maybe it doesn't feel as bad as it looks.

I'm also wondering where you bought the sneakers. Could they have been marked irregular and you didn't notice?

Venice - you reminded me of my mom. She taught us to always try them on and walk across the floor at the store.

Once, after wearing at home for the same amount of time I was SUPPOSED to wear them for at the store, I took a pair back.

This was before the internet. I bought a pair of my usual brand mail order last December, and by Feb I had a huge painful sore on a toe due to a bad fit I had not noticed.

Mom's are always right. The best thing to do is check both shoes carefully at the store. If you buy mail order, make sure to check and be prepared to send them back. I wouldn't suggest the OP's daughter wear that shoe if it is really crooked - it looks like it is.

When my kids got new sneakers, I always made them carefully sprint cross the store to see how they felt. And I always made them try on both shoes. But it's still no guarantee that the shoes will feel good once you actually start wearing them.

Back when soles were made of leather, my mom made me go outside on the concrete patio to scrape up the bottoms of my new shoes so they wouldn't be slippery.

You are probably right. The OP's daughter shouldn't risk wearing the sneakers. She could end up with a problem like you did.

Are those sneakers the same size? They right one looks larger then the left one, and it's not the way the photo is taken. It's also a good reminder to always try on both sneakers, shoes, etc.

Was this an all sales final pair?
