Guardian Pest Defense Complaint - Forcing a client to stay a client

Review by Shame on you on 2011-08-22
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA -- After being a customer for 3 yrs. I cancelled service, was informed even though my contract had expired 2 yrs ago they needed a written notice. I responded that I was no longer under contract and I did give a 30 verbal notice. Even after I requested no service, a tech showed up to my house and left me with a bill for NO Services.

In most instances where I have had to cancel service, a written notice was required.

Sounds like this pest control firm is run by the rats and roaches they get rid of.

Verbal cancellations do not protect you. There is no way to prove you cancelled. Written cancellations sent via usps return registered receipt certified mail are the way to go. This way you have proof you cancelled, and so do they, and you avoid situations like the one you are now facing.
