QVC, Inc. Complaint - Customer service down the tubes
I ordered this product for my mothers' birthday. I checked the box requesting gift wrapping and a gift card for an extra five dollars. When the item was received, it was damaged, there was no gift wrapping or gift card. Thankfully I was not charged for the wrapping and card, but still disappointed that it was not done. I sent back the damaged merchandise, requesting an undamaged one be sent right away. After over a weeks' time, no product. I called and was informed that a refund was given. I did not request that and had to reorder with the person over the phone. At this point it is two weeks after my mothers' birthday. The representative reordered my product, and had the nerve to try and charge me for shipping. She was very condescending, and actually seemed annoyed that I had the nerve to ask for free shipping. That's the least you owe me, why should I pay to have a product shipped that came damaged? I manage a million dollar optical store, and if one of my employees talked to a customer like that a write up would have followed. I receive what I thought was the undamaged product, and what do I get, the same box I just sent back. I was told that they would send a new product out, and I could keep the damaged one until that came. No offer to me to make up for the rudeness and the incompetence throughout my entire experience. I asked for a refund and told them that there is always HSN and shopnbc. I don't know what happened to QVC, but they are not the company I have been doing business for the last twenty years.
