Tire Kingdom Complaint - Car not repaired properly
I have a 2010 Mazda 3 five door hatch back that had original Yokohama tires that were smooth after only 22000 miles. I called Yokohama. They said carry it to their nearest agent – Tire Kingdom. Davie.
I took it there and spoke to Tony. He looked at the tires and said that they were cutting and asked if I did any alignment on the car; I said no. He said that Yokohama would do nothing for me.
We talked about pricing of new tires, installation, balancing and alignment.
I said that I would get back to him after I do some research on line.
I decided to buy 4 new Kumho tires from Tire Rack and have Tire Kingdom install balance and aligned.
This was done on 8/22/11 at a total cost of $203.62.
The car started to drift and shake – I returned the car on 8/23/11.
The car continued to shake and drift – I returned the car 8/26/11.
Today is 8/30/11. I called Tony @ TK to tell him that I am still getting a strong shake from the steering.
His reply was that something was wrong with the new Kumho tires and gave the impression that he was not going to attempt to fix the problem again because he believes that he fixed it already.
I believe that this Tire kingdom has received moneys from me but has not repaired my vehicle to at least a safe standard.
