Pizza Hut Complaint - Rude manager/poor customer service
A pizza was ordered for my kids in the anticipation I would arrive home before the delivery. When I knew I wasn't going to be home in time, I called to cancel the delivery and say I would pick the pizza up. The person on the other end stated and I quote "you ordered 37 minutes ago and you call now to cancel"? I was flabergasted. I said "excuse me, what did you just say"? He said "if you knew you were going to pick it up why did you say delivery". I then told the gentleman maybe I should talk to the manager to explain. He replied "I am the manager". I asked for his name and was told that information wasn't available. I then asked for their corporate number and the reply was "what is corporate going to do?" Then I thought you know, he was right, if he was the manager speaking to a customer that way, representing a world renouned restaurant such as Pizza Hut, maybe customer service wasn't important anymore.
