Travel To Go Complaint - Scammers!!!

Traveltogo.com is a waste of time. I Bought an airline ticket through Traveltogo. I became ill for 8 weeks, (pneumonia) and could not use it.

After I received a busy signal at their phone number, I explained this situation completely via email. Few days later they replied with a short email saying "call us".

I called, and was waiting in the phone tree for 20 min. Then I hung up, and sent another email saying if they could not resolve the issue via email, I would write this review (posted many places) which I am now writing (they later left ANOTHER email and message saying "call us"). Clearly they are playing games and they just want your money.

STAY AWAY FROM TRAVELTOGO.COM. DON'T USE THEM.

I have heard that the phone lines at most airlines and travel agencies have been slammed the past couple days due to the 7000 flights cancelled because of Irene. I friend of mine said the hold time at Continental Airlines was over 2 hours. Hopefully the hold times will shorten soon.

Just as a warning, regardless of how you purchase your ticket - be it from the airline or through an agency - if you miss your flight and don't cancel your seat before your plane leaves, your ticket is no longer good regardless of the reason. If you bought travel insurance, you should be able to make a claim if you are willing to provide proof from a doctor that you were sick.
