Factory Outlet Store Complaint - Beware in buying products from factory outlet store

In June 2011 I bought a map update for $69.95 for my Magellan RoadMate 1200 from the factory outlet store. When I received the item (a carton with a code for the update) it did not work and the code was invalid. After discussion with the Magellan helpline, it became clear that this card was outdated, and I would need to return the item to Factory Outlet Store. After many phone calls, an e-mails, both to Magellan and Factory Outlet Store (very unpleasant customer experience), it is 3 months later and I am still waiting for a refund or any help. Factory Outlet Store claims it never received my return item and Magellan does not take responsibility as they are not the vendor. Consumers beware- Do not buy from Factory Outlet Store and stick to renowned vendors such as Amazon.

How did you send it back to them? Did you have a tracking number tht shows they had received it?
