Sears Complaint - Return policy dispute
Purchased this tractor on 07/30/11 and picked it up on 07/31/11 as it had to be uncrated and serviced. after 10 hours of use I determined that this was a useless tractor for my needs as well as many problems with tractor performance. I attempted to return the tractor on 08/31/11 and was told I was a day late (but not a dollar short)as I had paid cash. I only wanted to upgrade to a more expensive tractor. my point is that the invoice said 90 day return policy on the front and 30 days on the back in fine print, of course, but even at 30 days, time should have started at the date that tractor was available for pick up which would have been 30 days from the 31st. I believe this to be an unfair return policy and am considering legal action.
