Sears Complaint - Rude customer service at local store
My nightmare started on July 7th when I went into the Sears local store to purchase a front loading washer. My daughter has twins and a 10 yr old son so she needs her washer daily. I went to our local Sears store in New Albany Ms. to get her one and there was a front loasding one there on sale. After I purhcased it I was told they didn't deliver unless you paid another $75.00 I was not expecting this because Lowes deliver Free and so does all the other appliance stores here. So I had to get some one to pick it up and hook it up. After we finally got it it would not work so we called Sears because it has a 1 year warranty so after 1 week a repairman came but could not fix it. He wrote a report and another #2 repairman came the next week, he could not fix it so number 3 repair man came the next week he couldn't fix it so another report and all the time they all ordered different parts repairman #4 came with another part and the same thing.#5 repairman came with a $700.00 part this also didn't fix it so he said we should ask for another washer so we did but they set up another time for #6 repairman to come on 8/27/11 to come. All this time, 2 months, my daugther has been washing by hand in the bathtub. I was getting very upset so I was calling the local Sears store where they were very rude and wouldn't replace it. Finally after me picking out another one and paying the difference they said they would deliver it on Wednesday, she waited all day for the repairman and he never showed up Sears never called. I called and they said he would be there Friday morning but I had to call again because at 4;oo pm he still hadn't come. They acted as if I was being a bother by calling.
