Horrible Verizon Hotspot/Air Card Complaint - Useless Verizon Mobile Hotspot Internet Card is USELESS! $60 per month thrown away
I purchased a Mobile Hotspot aka wireless air card from Verizon less than a year ago and it is useless! I have talked to customer service over and over and taken it in to the local store and all they offer is downgrade to the $40 plan and wait out contract, about another year. When I took it in to the local Verizon store, she recommended I upgrade to the new model coming out that would only cost me $50 more and extend the contract another 2 years!!! Or I could pay the early termination fee of $130! I told her to check my usage and see that I have NOT been using it at all as it causes too much frustration, pages take forever to load only to freeze once you get there. Don't even think about trying to watch a video on Youtube. Didn't matter. I am so upset with Verizon for this, what ever happened to customer service and standing behind your product. As soon as you sign their 2 year contract you are stuck and they brush your complaints right under the carpet. I am not a complainer at all, but this is borderline criminal. I am too afraid to upgrade to another inferior product and get locked in/held hostage for another two years.
