Fairfield Inn And Suites: 1212 N Main St, Ashland City, Tn Complaint - Claims of being "Pet Friendly" / condition of property

Review by wolfysdaddy on 2011-09-04
Recently I checked in and checked out the same day, with my 16 year old Dachshund. At best the property is tired, shabby might be a better word. I was there on a brief holliday, but my dog could not settle down, compelling me to check out a few hours later. IF this property was indeed "pet friendly" they would have been understanding and tried to work out a partial refund. They did not.

Unfortunately there does not appear to be a decent hotel in the area, but I will sleep in my car before I even thing about that locally owned / operated place again.

Pet friendly does not equal partial refund if you check out early, because your dog was not able to settle down.

They held up their obligation, and allow pets, which makes them pet friendly.

I have to agree with Skye. Your dog is quite old, even for a dachshund. I don't blame you a bit for caring so much for him/her. Hopefully you did find a reasonable place to stay.

"Pet friendly," in my opinion, means they allow pets. As to guaranteeing the comfort of either you or your dog, I doubt that they do that. It is unfortunate that this happened, but I don't see anything that the motel did wrong.
