Intuit- Quicken Software Complaint - Intuit / Quicken's Greed Money Grubbing Attitude

Review by Liz on 2011-09-05
CA -- I have been a Quicken user for over 30 years. I could use my program until I chose to upgrade. Three years ago Quicken notified everyone they would no longer support older versions and I purchased delusxe version 2008.

Barely THREE years later they notified me they would not support the software anymore and I must now spend Up to $60 for the software. I am a retiree and in this economy GREED has taken over the company.

My Option then is to stop using Quicken and Turbo Tax for future use. It seems that nothing matters to companies like Intuit and I will in the future inform my friends to steer clear of Intuit's MONEY GRUBBING ATTITUDE.

You don't have to stop using the program just because it's no longer supported. Is it compatible with your computer's current operating system?

My thoughts exactly bcd.

I like Quicken but would like to find a similar package that networks. It would be great if it were available for Windows, Mac and Linux too. Any suggestions?

I am using Quicken 2014. Bought 2017 to update but I am returning it to the store. The community is reporting multiple problems and Quicken has put a bug into 2014 telling me to update but will not go through. They are perpetuating FRAUD on the public. No customer service to answer simple questions. I will be looking for something new to work with.
