I ran accross this ridiculous review and felt compelled to weigh in on the issue of Steve kaeser lighting-- Last year i purchased what sounds like the exact same kit- having done my research on the web, on ebay and finally on skaeser.com- finding it to be the least expensive and providing me with the biggest bang for my buck-- i orderd the light kit over the phone with the guy himself- steve kaeser- and he couldn't have been nicer- and full of good photo info- i'm somewhat of a novice-- in any case, i got the kit within a week, expertly packed- everything worked out great, but for one thing-- after a couple of shoots- i realized this wasn't the kit for me- a little too hot for my cramped studio-- i called the steve kaeser's again and in a matter of minutes i was able to work out an exchange for some really cool flourescent cool lights (almost no heat produced) and i got a refund of almost half of my initial purchase-- all i had to do was ship back my first kit and again, within a week- i was back in business-- nobody ever laughed at me, the lights have been working great and i found their customer service to be fantastic-- which is one of the reasons i chose them- their ebay feedback is perfect and my own expeience was great-- this guy kind of sounds like a wacko.

I just purchased a similar kit. One of the lights had a minor problem. They sent me a new one and a call tag to pick up the old one. It only took 3 minutes on the phone to setup. Two day later I had a replacement light. I am really happy with their service.

I want to thank the reviewer because I believe his review is accurate. I called Steve Kaeser's company after finding him on Ebay. I got the most useless "sales" help I could imagine. This idiot would just stop talking suddenly and then start talking again. I'm not talking about a brief pause, but rather a pause so long, I felt he had dropped the call. I guess this guy was just an idiotic 20-something used to text messaging people instead of dealing with a human being. Anyhow, I will be taking the reviewers advice and deal directly with Britek or someone else.

from the comments, me thinks someone at the lighting company found out about this post and is trying to repair the damage.
