Ashley Furniture Homestore Complaint - Ashley Mattress From Nightmareland
I recently bought a mattress because the ones I had were really old. I figured I would splurge on a modern mattress to get the sleep we deserved. spending more than I would on a mattress I felt we deserved to treat ourselves. I wanted to surprise my husband with a really comfortable bed. the salesperson really sweet talked me and said how great those Ashley mattresses were, and that they were cheaper than the actual temperpedic, what she never told me that I would be ignored and not helped after the sale. they also promised me a gift card from a western store it was a promotion they had, a month later and no gift card yet. after I got the mattress, that night I realized how uncomfortable this mattress was. I thought it would take some getting used to, but then my husband and I started having really bad neck and back pain, so I called my salesperson and she said that mattress didn't have comfort warranty, but she would check with her manager and call me back. a week went by and I never got a call back, so I went to the store and talked to the manager, who told me the same thing. she offered to give me a discount on a new mattress, but what am I suppose to do with the old one, I would still have to be paying for it. she said she would send someone to check if the mattress had a factory defect but it would take a month before he can look at it. meanwhile I keep waking up every night with pain. I am very disappointed on having to be paying $1200 on a mattress that is not only uncomfortable but also hurting me and my husband. I would have upgraded to a more expensive mattress if they would have helped me. my advice never believe a salesperson on how great the product is, and make sure that what you are buying has warranty. oh and don't shop a Ashleys because all they care about is selling products with very low quality and very unsatisfying customer service.
