BFGoodridge Tires By Michellin Corp. Complaint - Dry Rot
I called BFGoodridge and told them about the dry rotting already visible on two of the tires they manufactured on Oct. 2010 and installed on my new Suzuki Equator at their factory. My vehicle has barely 9200 miles and this situation is occurring only due to poor materials and lack of interest in manufacturing a good product. I have had the same brand tire in the past and NEVER had this problem. The company says I must pay 60 % of the cost to replace them. They should replace them for free if they have any consideration at all for their customers. As I have not received a satisfactory resolution to my dilemma, I have already written a letter stating to whoever reads it that if I should be involved in an accident and I should perish, the BFGoodridge is to be sued for neglect. I am also placing a sign to warn others of this situation on the tailgate of the truck for everyone to see so they re-consider buying anything built by the Michellin Corp. who owns BFGoodridge. CONSUMERS BEWARE, LOOK UP COMPLAINTS on any brand tire before purchasing any, it will pay off.
