Priceline.com and Wyndham Hotel Complaint - Policy vs customer service

Review by Dlhosack on 2011-09-09
Only saved $10 by going through Priceline. Unfortunate that I must share my dissatisfaction with Priceline And by extension, Wyndham in Southport NC. Due to a sudden last minute cancellation in my plans, my reservation less than 24 hrs old, citing "policy" I was unable to speak with anyone willing to seek a resolution. We will be coming down in a week but due to the inflexibility and unavailability of any manager to help find a resolution, we will seek other accommodations. Sad that they lose a customer over $130, plus bad pub.

Thankfully there are other businesses willing to provide good customer service.

You tried to save a few bucks and not deal with the hotel directly. When you do this, you do not get the treatment you would get if you deal wtih the hotel directly. You can't have your cake and eat it to. You get what you pay for and you paid for service from Priceline.

I agree with spiderman. You get what you pay for. 3rd party reservations are NON REFUNDABLE OR CHANGEABLE. Do NOT blame the hotel.
