Sears Complaint - Good Bye And Good Riddance Sears.
I had a fridge delivered to my house that had a handle that was not aligned correctly. I asked the delivery person about it, and he told me that they were all this way, a blatant lie. I gave Sears a week to get new parts and come to my house to get it right. When they showed up, the maintenance guys tell me that the door had the wrong handle and that they also had the wrong handle. These two guys then get someone on the phone who tells me that they will send me a new handle and that I can put it on myself. I then tell them that what sense does it make for me to buy a NEW fridge that I have to repair myself. They claim that this is the best they can do. In addition to this, I can understand not confirming a delivery time the first 2 times you have to come to my house, but by the third time; they should be willing to bend to my schedule. They were not willing to give me a time, even after 3 attempts to get a delivery correct. This is unacceptable. I then tell them to come get their fridge. It has been 10 days since they picked up the fridge and I still have the fridge charged to my card.
I have had a Sears credit card for 17 yrs. This is the second appliance issue that I have had with them. 2/3 of my tools are Craftsman and many of my household items are from Sears. This will be the last time that I do business with them. This is very unfortunate, since I just became a homeowner. GOOD BYE and GOOD RIDDANCE SEARS.
