Airsoft megastore Complaint - Good store..untill you have a problem
After 3 good purchases from Airsoftmegastore I decided to purchase A higher end gun from them.
I received the gun and after 20 shots or so it makes a loud clunk noise and totally freezes.
I called and was given the normal "what bb's were you using questions". I was told I could pay to ship it back to them and it would take 4-6 weeks to have it fixed and sent back.
The gun weighs almost 20 pounds (A&K m60) and would cost 35 to ship...I also express my concern over the long wait to get it fixed.
The representative (Mike) told me that if I knew a place that repairs airsoft guns they would refund me the cost of repairs.
I took it to be repaired and faxed them a receipt. I received an email saying "Were sorry for your trouble with your purchase...what bb's were you using? We will gladly fix your airsoft gun."
I wrote back and explained everything all over again. They sent an email back saying "Were sorry for your trouble with your purchase...what bb's were you using? We will gladly fix your airsoft gun."
I called this time, frustrated with the cookie cutter emails. I was told I would have to submit a claim through ups...since they shipped it. Just for giggles I called UPS who promptly said "Sounds like airsoftmegastore is trying to pass the buck"
I called airsoftmegastore again (who once again had no clue what was going on) who this time said "why'd you send us a cost for repairs?".
Now they claim thy would never have told me to go get it repaired.
Thank god my bank says this is fraud and that I can file a dispute over the cost of the repairs.
It is totally obvious now that they have no communication and don't back up what they say.
Their a good store till they make a mistake.
