Dillard's Department Stroe in Grand Island, Nebraska Complaint - Same product, same style number, different color costs are different - Cabernet Bra
Cabernet Bra - Complaint
Yesterday, I was at Dillard's Department Store in Grand Island, Nebraska. As I was walking through the lingerie department, I noticed that the bra that I used was on sale. I searched through the items and found two in the same brand and style in my size. One was white and one was beige. I took them to the counter to pay for them. When they rang up, one was $18.20 and the other was $26.00. The bra brand was Cabernet minimizer. On the back of the label, I see R246-50. When I asked why the difference in price, the sales clerk really couldn't answer me and sho she said she would ask an area manager. It was "becasue of two different colors"! I couldn't believe my ears. I have purchased this brand, style and size for years and I have never paid different prices for different colors in the same product. I have always pruchased different colors at the same time.
I asked if I purchased shoes at Dillards, would I expect to pay different prices for different colors and the response was "yes".

It is very common for a basic item to come in many different colors. If a color doesn't sell well they discontinue that one color and most likely send a new color to replace it in a couple weeks. Same thing in shoes, you could have a style that does great that you keep on the floor all year, but maybe the brown isn't selling well, why discontinue the whole style when only the one color isn't working?
