Panasonic Complaint - Panasonic ES8103S warranty service
I purchased a Panasonic ES8103S shaver on 4/14/2011. Recently, I discovered that one of the inner stainless steel blades had broken, clearly visible when the outer foil has been removed. The shaver had not been dropped or otherwise abused because that was the only part that was broken. The fix is simple: replace the defective stainless steel blade. However, Panasonic informs me that defective blades are not covered under the 1 year warranty; I will have to buy a new set of blades, for $30 plus shipping, to continue to use a product which is still under warranty.
