Radio Shack Complaint - Radio Shack is Full of Liars
I am through with Radio Shack, never shopping there again. I have been buying Gigaware headsets there for years, but since the suckers break like every 6 months I have to constantly replace them. I thought at first the replacement plan would have been a good idea, but the first time they wouldn't even take it at the store to ship it back. Having been burned by this plan before, I didn't want to buy it on later headsets, but when the ass at the booth said that the plan had changed and I would be able to return it directly at the store for an immediate replacement when I complained about how useless shipping it away was. I was deliberately lied to after pointing out the way their policy had run and then sold what I was told was a new policy when it was the same one. This goes beyond mere tricking, but actually openly lying.
Needless to say that no one cared at Radio Shack when there customer is irate about the open and direct lies. They also lied and said I didn't even have a service plan even though I was able to bring it up in seconds. I believe the guy at the counter was intentionally putting the information in wrong just to not have to even honor part of the plan, and I'm sure he will never return the item to the company. Horrible, horrible company. Doesn't give a damn about their customers and only wants to screw you over.
