Bullseye Coffe, Willamette, Oregon Complaint - Poor service - Irish Cream Mocha to go

Review by pibbles52 on 2011-09-14
Asked for a 20 oz Irish Cream Mocha to go. Was told she'd have to check to see if they had any - it was "out of season"....yes they did. She rang up $4.40 (40 cents higher than I pay anywhere else). I gave her a five which was laying on the counter...she gave me 60 cents in change, and proceeded to hand me three $5 bills - I told her I would love to take it but her till would be out of balance....her comment - oh, I should have taken my glasses off???? She left the till open after putting the money back and proceeded to make my coffee. Unfortunately, I didn't take a sip of it until I was back on the freeway - no Irish Cream - I guess it was truly "out of season in that store" !!! Tried calling only got answering machine.

It sounds as though the barista was very distracted that day. My papa always said he couldn't see a thing with his glasses on. I guess it depends on whether you are near or far sighted, or have another underlying eye issue.

I have often heard about coffee calamities from many people, the two common themes being the coffee not tasting the way they're used to, or forgetting to add a flavor. My suggestion to them is always to taste it while they are there so tweaks can be made if necessary and they are not left with a bad taste in their mouth.
(As an aside - Irish Cream is NEVER out of season.) ;)
