I called AT&T in response to an ad offering high speed internet for $14.95 per month. I asked if there were any other costs and was repeatedly told no. I ordered service. I was told they would give me a $100 router for free, which contributed to my impression there was no equipment charge. (I saw the exact same router in Walmart the next day for $50.) After the service started I received an estimate of my first months bill. What a shock it totaled over $180. The bill was 12 times what they represented. The billing rate was $38 per month. When I called to resolve the issue all I got was the run around. When I asked for the name and address of a vice president who had the authority to resolve the problem they hung up on me. AT&T uses fraudulent or misleading advertising and sales representations. USE ANYBODY OTHER THAN ATT
