Herbal Groups Informative - Beware of These People
CANOGA PARK, CALIFORNIA -- On September 7, I received a phone call in reference to herbal supplements. I was offered a trial of an herbal supplement. The deal was a free two-week trial of the supplement package, that would only cost me $9.95. The next day, Crystal informed me that the outfit had nailed our account for $19.85. I sent them an email, asking for an explanation or a refund. Later that day, I called the 800 number I had been given, and a very personable lady stated that they had refunded my money and that they were going to send me a sample of the supplements, for which I would not have to pay anything, and indeed, I did receive the samples. On September 9, within a span of 10 minutes, our account was hit with three $1.00 charges and three fees 0f three cents each from Visa International. We contacted our credit union, and after discussing the situation, we cancelled my debit card and ordered a new one with a different number. The one I had expires at the end of the month anyway. We filed the paperwork claiming fraudulent charges at the same time. I received an DVD today that would appear to prove the DVD outfit and Herbal Groups are in cahoots. The internet provides a fantastic amount of information when tracking suspected frauds.
