Amazon.com Complaint - No responsibility taken for venders
Ordered DDr2 8500 RAM from Amazon waited 5 days, rec'd Fed Ex, poorly packed, rec'd DDR3 8500 instead. Description on web for DDR2, item number for DDR3. Have been working several days with vender to straighten out mess, now I receive email that correct item on back order for who knows how long.
Told vender to ship RMA and return postage, and refund card.
Called Amazon, and they accept no responsibility for incorrect listings or venders on site.
I've bought over 100 items on eBay and they have a ratings system that evaluates their venders and also shows the complaints against them. Amazon admits they could have venders on their site for years without knowing that they are screwing the public as they have no way of check up on said venders.
BUYER BEWARE. IF A DEAL LOOKS TOO GOOD ON AMAZON. COM, I WOULDN'T GO NEAR IT.
