Hyatt Place - Dublin/Pleasanton CA Complaint - Cheated out of a discount certificate

I had obtained a discount certificate for $100 for a 2-night stay at a Hyatt hotel. When I checked in at Hyatt Place in Dublin/Pleasanton and presented it, the clerk accepted it. However, when I went to pay my bill they said they could not accept it even though they had stamped "VOID" on it so that I couldn't use it again. When I called to complain, the manager was insulting to me and still refused to accept it. I will no longer patronize Hyatt hotels and will share my experiences with others so that they in turn will not get "stiffed" by Hyatt hotels.

Try contacting their corporate headquarters (71 S. Wacker Dr, 12th floor, Chicago, IL 60606) at (312) 750-1234 or (800) 323-7249. They at least owe you an explanation.
